St. Joseph's ended the only losing streak it has known lately.

Delonte West had 24 points, and Jameer Nelson had 16 points and seven assists as the third-ranked Hawks remained undefeated with an 81-67 victory over Dayton on Wednesday night in Philadelphia.

Tyrone Barley was 3-for-4 from three-point range and had 14 points for the Hawks (21-0, 10-0 Atlantic 10) who ended a three-game streak against Dayton (19-4, 9-1) in extending their school-record winning streak.

Saint Joseph's and No. 2 Stanford (20-0) remain the only unbeaten teams in Division I.

• No. 1 Duke 93, Virginia 75: J.J. Redick (25 points) and Shelden Williams (19 points, 12 rebounds) led the Blue Devils (21-1, 10-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) over the Cavaliers (12-9, 2-8) in Durham, N.C.

• No. 6 Mississippi State 79, No. 25 South Carolina 75: Timmy Bowers' three-pointer forced overtime, and Branden Vincent's free throw with 53 seconds left in the extra session gave the Bulldogs (20-1, 9-1 Southeastern Conference) the lead for good in a victory over the Gamecocks (19-5, 6-4) in Columbia, S.C.

• No. 13 Cincinnati 80, South Florida 67: Tony Bobbitt's season-high 26 points helped the Bearcats (17-3, 8-2 Conference USA) beat the Bulls (6-14, 0-9) in Cincinnati, Ohio.

• Oklahoma 63, No. 18 Texas Tech 48: Freshman Lawrence McKenzie of Minneapolis scored 15 points, and the Sooners (15-5, 5-4 Big 12) routed the Red Raiders (17-6, 5-4) in Norman, Okla.

• No. 23 Southern Illinois 96, Drake 76: Freshman reserve Jamaal Tatum scored a career-high 19 points as the Salukis (19-2, 13-0 Missouri Valley Conference) beat the Bulldogs (9-12, 5-8) in Carbondale, Ill.

• No. 24 Providence 100, Villanova 74: Donnie McGrath (23 points), Ryan Gomes (23) and Sheiku Kabba (20) led the Friars (16-5, 7-3 Big East) over the Wildcats (13-9, 5-4) in Villanova, Pa.

Big Ten

• No. 17 Wisconsin 54, Iowa 52: Devin Harris scored 16 points, and the Badgers (16-4, 7-2) survived a late rally by the Hawkeyes (12-9, 5-5) in Iowa City. The victory enabled Wisconsin to hold on to first place in the Big Ten.

The Hawkeyes, who trailed by 13 points early in the second half, got within two points on Glen Worley's three-pointer with 43 seconds left.

• Northwestern 40, Purdue 39: The Wildcats (10-11, 5-5) used a stingy matchup zone defense and timely shooting down the stretch to record their second upset victory in a row, winning in West Lafayette, Ind.

Mohamed Hachad's three-pointer from the corner with 1:55 left proved the game winner.

Kenneth Lowe had a chance to give the Boilermakers (15-8, 5-5) the lead with just under 30 seconds to play, but his three-point shot was off the mark.

• Indiana 75, Penn State 56: Bracey Wright's 25 points led the Hoosiers (12-9, 6-4) over the Nittany Lions (9-11, 3-6) in State College, Pa.

• Tim Brown's 23 points led Gustavus Adolphus (17-5, 15-2) to a 64-52 victory over St. Mary's (5-18, 4-14) at St. Peter. . . . John Jacobs (19 points, 11 rebounds) led Bethel (17-6, 12-6) to an 84-61 victory over St. John's (8-13, 6-10) at Arden Hills. . . . Lucas Olson-Patterson (18 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals) led Augsburg (8-15, 5-13) to an 81-63 victory over St. Olaf (7-15, 4-13) in Minneapolis. . . . Macalester (15-7, 14-3) recorded an 88-76 victory over St. Thomas (10-12, 8-9) behind Ben Van Thorre's 29 points in St. Paul. . . . • Wisconsin guard Maurice (Boo) Wade was charged Wednesday with choking a woman at her apartment. He will appear in court today on the misdemeanor battery charge.

• St. John's guard Elijah Ingram withdrew from the university, one week after he and five other teammates broke curfew to go to a strip club. Ingram, a sophomore who led the team in scoring, left on the same day that the St. John's judicial board suspended teammate Abe Keita from school for one year.
